This beautiful runner is handwoven on traditional handlooms with hand-knotted fringe. Renewable, durable and sustainable this runner is crafted by rural weavers from Southern India. Traditional weavers create our handwoven runners from a blend of banana plant stem and cotton thread. Banana plants bear fruit only once in their lifetime and head for landfills once the fruit is harvested. Banana plant agricultural waste is re-purposed and transformed into strong, durable, and renewable ropes, to create these exquisite runners. Spoil yourself or gift a loved one!!
